[multicrew] When your concerns become reality

Not tried the gunner role, I have no interest in playing third person VR. Launched a fighter from a guys ship and got disconnected immediately, which was a shame. In cockpit was fine, very smooth infact. That said, even with an iron stomach I can see that being a passenger is going to take a little getting used too. There were a few moments I felt a little odd, but nothing serious. Mileage may vary for others though.

My only critism was that I was unable to see the pilots hud, so no radar... which was a shame. Also I seemed to have a huge holographic representation of the guys ship square in my vision... very distracting and it didnt seem to do anything. Id rather just see the traditional radar / HUD layout in honesty.

I'll give things another go later with my wingman. We both play in VR and the disconnects 'should' be easier to recover from. I'll let you know his opinion on the turrets as I won't be using them as things stand.

Amen to that ... same here, no interest in third person person gunner mode. Fighters is a different matter. Ah well at least they did not remove the AI turrets.

It would seem the opposite, but I'm very interested in multicrew. I'm reading comforting feedback about the motion sickness in gunner view. At least it will be playable, even if not immersive as the rest of VR experience in Elite.
More experiences from beta testers would be very apreciated.
