It would be awesome if there was a proper multiplayer mode where 2-4 players (or even more) could build a park together at the same time.

How would I implement this? Well, you could create a multiplayer game with lobbies. You create a lobby or get a code, which you then share with your friends so they can join the lobby. How this would be programmed, I unfortunately can't say.

Additionally, you could introduce different roles, such as: Visitors, Builders, and the Lobby Leader, and so on.

Personally, I was hoping for a multiplayer mode like this in Planet Coaster 1, where players could join a lobby and play together.

It is very unlikely that Planet Coaster 2 will get a multiplayer mode, likely because of how this would work on a technical level. If it had been easy to add, it probably would have been a feature already.
