Essentially I would like to combine all my alt accounts under one login. I would like to see this be brought around so we can log in with a single login and purchase things from the ARX store and use it with more than one account.
Naturally, this would requre safeguards so that it would not be abused and have people attach to friends accounts to access their purchases.
My thoughts would be that any account that is combined would be part of the primary account permanently, and would only be able to be separated by a ticket to support. If separated, any cosmetics that were not individually purchased for the departing account would be removed. Your ARX would be combined and shared with a limit of 400 bonus per week regardless of the number of attached accounts.
There would have to be a limit for combined accounts. I would imagine that somewhere around 5 total accounts would be a reasonable limit of accounts to combine and share cosmetics between.
Why?
A single login for multiple commanders would be a quality of life improvement.
I would also purchase even more cosmetics if I could combine my commanders than what I have individually. For example, if this was implemented tomorrow I would purchase all the current SCO prebuilt ships and their additional ship kits, and a few choice paint jobs. I would purchase ship kits for other ships I don't fly as often. I would purchase almost every COVAS. I would purchase all the engine and weapon colors. I would be more inclined to purchase future ships if it applied to all my accounts.
My guess would be that many other people would purchase more for their accounts, as well as the purchase of additional CMDR accounts. I believe this would improve the cash flow for Frontier and would encourage more purchased cosmetics.
