Multiple Coaster Trains?

If we design a really long track, can we add more than one set of cars? It would get more people through the ride faster, and won't have so many people standing in the queue for so long.

I'm sure its planned. They've already said the coaster builder is far from finished. Pretty much if an old RCT game had it, then this will have it too.

Figured it out. You need 2 sets of block brakes. One where the cars sit, and one where the cars from the station go past. I have a single block brake before the drop after my chain lift. It will pull the cars up, and then hold them there until the other train arrives past the brakes by the station.

This is available on the current alpha. You need two block breaks to add a second train and one extra block break per train you want to add after that one.

For example if you want 2 trains you need 2 blocks, 3 blocks for 3 trains and so on.

Played around with it and I'm not really sure there's is a limit in how many trains you can have. Reached 7 on a single coaster (just to test, cause it's really inefficient)

So do chain lifts not count as block brakes any more? Previous rct gashes they did as it's a section of track capable of stopping a train

Chainslifts do not "stop" trains, they prevent trains from going backwards up a tall hill.
A fast moving train on a small hill goes over a chain as if it was not there.

Which is, thankfully, no longer necessary.

With the full release Steam version, multi-training now works like this:

1. Build the track with block brakes positioned as needed. For 2 trains, recommend 1 at the top of the lift device and 1 just before the return to the station. For 3 or more trains, add additional blocks behind the station. NOTE: AT THIS POINT, THE ADDITIONAL TRAINS WILL NOT BE VISIBLE.

2. Close the track-editing window at the bottom of the screen. Then make sure the ride itself is selected and its info window is in the upper right corner.

3. Go to the Operations tab of the ride's info window. You will see a box for number of trains. Under this is a checkbox for "Block Sections". Check that box, then increase the number of trains as desired. UNLESS YOU CHECK THE "Block Sections" BOX, EXTRA TRAINS WILL NOT APPEAR.

Once you complete Step #3, the extra train(s) will appear. at the block brakes behind the station and will be there for both testing and normal operation. And the number of trains is adjustable during play. If you built the ride with 3 trains but only have customers for 1 or 2, you can change that, which reduces operating costs and breakdown frequency.
