Multiple GPU SLI and Crossfire support.

Does anyone know if Planet Coaster will support SLI or Crossfire? I'm getting major slowdown on a full park. My first card is almost maxed out and the second card is idle.
2 GeForce GTX 980 ti.
Thanks.

I'm not sure that they've announced anything, but what I do know is that the game is very CPU dependent. I just upgraded from an i5 4460 to an i7 6700k and it is a huge difference.
I doubt that sli will help that much.

And also there will always be slow down in a full park, that's just the nature of this type of game.

The 6th gen Intel Core i7 6700k is a very good High End quad core processor. I can easily multi task with it play this game cities skylines or the sims 4 and do other stuff like go to desktop on microsoft word 2016 or load my videos and pictures or go to task manager and it does so with ease. The intel core i7 6700k has a BASE SPEED of a high 4Ghz with turno boost to 4.2Ghz. It xan be overclocked. Where as the GPU CLOCK SPEED on even the high end GTX 1080 is only 1.5-2Ghz. GPU clock speed, the type of bus a GPU has, and the memory bandwidth matter with GPUs.

I can confirm there is no native SLI support at the minute but there is a thread on here where someone used the nvidia inspector to force alternate frame rendering.

Thank you for all the replies. I have a newer PC that I built earlier this year. I have a Intel Core i7 5930k with 6 cores and 12 threads with a mild overclock at 4ghz. I don't think that the processor is the issue.

Thanks Tilly Tony, if you come across the link could you post it here? When I search for SLI or multiple GPU's I get no posts. Thanks.

theres no doubt it will eventually be supported, as the engine itself supports it, and rarely is there a popular game that doesnt.....some not all that well, but, regardless, expect it.

as for the game being very CPU dependent, well, thats true, but it doesnt at all mean that SLI wouldnt help performance. remember that this game is in alpha, and will most likely balance out as we approach release.

The suggested SLI settings in the linked thread doesn't do anything, at least not for me. All it does is make use of both my 980 Ti but there is no performance increase.

PC is both CPU and GPU dependent. Just leans a little more on the CPU side currently. :)
