Multiple Ship Cargo Suggestion

Don't think we have this feature. If we do please let me know.

It would be great if you could transfer cargo from one Ship to another in a station.

For example would be useful if you wanted to have say a mining ship and a big freighter. You would not have to put your freighter at risk.
Could mine until full fly back, dock, refuel, repair damage and then transfer cargo to freighter. Repeat until freighter full then switch ships and fly to best location to sell.

Maybe just add an option to the commodities screen?????

I second this option. Several times I've picked up a cargo run in in my Type 7 only to find it was to an outpost (I know, I should have checked, but space truckers get tired and sometimes jump on a juicy contract without proper due diligence). Regardless of the Type 7 issue not being allowed to dock at outposts (that's another thread I believe), or listing those contracts as "unavailable" due to wrong ship, if I'm willing to take the mission, and travel to my stored ship (or heck even buy a sidewinder or hauler depending), then I should be able to transfer the haulage to the new ship to complete the mission to avoid fine and reputation consequences. I think it would reward players willing to go the extra distance to get the mission complete. I also like the idea regarding mining and cargo transfer - again adds to the immersion and makes more realistic. Just my thoughts. Cheers.

maybe when wings is added you would get a friend or npc to transfer the goods. so at the outpost you drop you cargo and they scoop it up and deliver it.
