Quick question. When I upgraded from the Siddy to a Cobra, it gave me the option to put the Siddy in storage. So, I know you can have multiple ships. How do you go about re-basing? If I have mutilple ships at one station, how do I go about moving them to another station?

Move to the new station, buy a Sidewinder there, fly it back to the original base, sell the modules or downgrade them to minimise losses, then sell the temporary Sidey (10% loss) and fly your other ship to your new home.
Too bad they don't have a smaller ship for personel transport. That or a 'strip modules' option in the outfitter.

Silly situation, hopefully temporary. There should be a simple pay-for-delivery option to transport a ship to your current location, with an associated time delay. It was in the original game proposals.
If you're going a long distance, it's been said that the hauler makes more sense. Easier to equip it for a good jump range - make sure you sell the good FSD before you sell the ship - then you just lose 10% on the ship price, which is not that much.
That's true - you'll get 30ly out of a hauler with an A-grade FSD.
