On missions when you have to find someone, pick up something, etc, you have to watch for a USS. I noticed that when you watch the left panel under contacts, they will show up when they are near. Yet, for normal, non VR users, they may not actually be in the forward view but off to the side or somewhere else around. So I have learned to use cockpit look to keep the contacts in view while having a partial view of where I am heading.
My suggestion, when a USS appears as it does in the contact list, have it show up in the main Info panel as well. Simple note, USS Detected. I do not know if you get a "1 new contact" message there but since we get a lot of those, you would end up looking back and forth with the contacts panel a lot. So please add, "USS Detected" to Info panel on main screen.
Second suggestion, when you visit a station and it has a Black Market, I would like for that to appear when you look at the System Map and click on the station. It is hard to remember where they are because I visit a lot. I am not suggesting this be available to all pilots for the whole system, just added as part of my local ship database. Also have a filter on the Galaxy Map that would allow you to show known Black Markets would be awesome as well.
Third suggestion, ties to the above about Black Markets, when I pick up items or acquire them through other means, and then sell them at a Black Market, I would like for the cargo description in my Right panel to show last Black Market buy price I got. That way I would know what to dump in favor of more lucrative items if I am limited on cargo space.
Final suggestion, I do use a Discovery Scanner when I enter systems. I would be great if the Galaxy Map had a filter to show systems I have already scanned. This would be nice but not really as super useful as the above suggestions.
