Multiple waypoints (mid-stops) - even 20th century GPS did that!!!

Well I think the title says it all.
Let say I need to go somewhere, but I need to take a specific path and/or make specific stops before going there.
WHY NOT be able to plot this?

This can even help in time sensitive missions. All stops are planned, no need to go in the map screen again and again if waypoints are known!

Really, I could do this in 1990 with a good GPS. We can do it nowadays with our smartphones.
We cannot do it in 33rd century?

It's a suggestion that's been brought up several times now. FD ignore it every time because it seems "they know what's best" and the players who play it on a regular basis don't know anything. RB said he wanted to program a game he wanted to see done and so far, he's followed his own roadmap with no interest in what the players have to say about it.

Sad to hear that.
I would really love some feedback from Frontier.

Actually now that I think of it, we didn't just have this from the early days of plain GPS (not smartphones), we had this since the days of normal paper maps. You know. "Go to this creek, but first go check that river crossing, not that other bridge, because this is how I want it done".

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO NOTE DOWN MULTIPLE WAYPOINTS! As simple as that.

Who is RB?

Would make Navigation significantly more easy. especially for those who like to trade rare goods or even just picking up modules from specific stations before a long haul. So i'm in +1 :)

I simply want: -

1. Last Route in History (good to escape between discovered Systems when entering unknowns to Repair/Restock/Black Market, etc.)
2. Yes create a route via set stops.
3. Set System Map to Next Waypoint Selected.
