A personal preference honestly, but i think it would be cool to have different colors on different weapons.
For example i could have my energy weapons set to blue, but put red "Tracers" on my multicannons, or have my class 2 Multicannons set to green, but my Class 1s to red.
Or if you want to be "That CMDR," fire rainbows at people and laugh at your own (insert remark here).
