Murder: The only way to fly

  • Kill 25 to 50 people, as you do. Attract bounty.
  • Hand yourself in, be transported to the nearest convict facility.
  • In essence you get a free ride some distance

Cost of clearing bounty: 11,000 credits.
Cost of flying back to get your ship: 35,000 credits.

Truly, it's cheaper to murder multiple people, pay your bounty and get a free ride, than it is to take an Apex shuttle the same distance.
(Plus you can flaunt your freshly paroled status at the faction you just spent a day murdering)

Actually you only destroy their ships, they all eject into escape pods and get picked up in time to put their insurance claims in before tea ;-)

Was that part of a mission? Because just via random killing of the local cops a got a lot bigger bounty than that in pretty short time.

Fairly certain all the tourist I shot in a resort in my endless search for cat meme to upgrade my guns didn't eject. I mean, I saw a few brain parts being ejected from headshots, but despite my limited knowledge of medicine, I'm fairly certain you can't survive that.
Not entirely certain though, I have internet and access to social medias, and it would explain a few things.
