Really like it, was it inspired by Elite? Has a nice gentle movie score vibe. Would you be ok with folk using it for a future video or something (crediting you of course)?

Thanks, yes , I was trying to imagine the feeling of finding Earth for the first time in-game, would be more than happy for anyone to use it!

Yes, get it posted there. I believe the piece I did is still there somewhere, along with a lot of other great stuff - although orchestral music does seem to be in the minority.

If I get the chance I'm hoping to write another bit of Elite inspired music just for fun! But first I have to finish writing a piece of chamber music commissioned for a concert in summer.

Incidentally, are you using EWQL libraries in your piece?

Yes :smilie:, using SO gold, with HS gold (although I have only recently got that) , with a few old Akai libraries imported into Kontakt.

Ooh! I haven't tried any of their Hollywood libraries yet! Gorgeous sound, but how are you finding them in terms of user friendliness? Similar to SO or more involved?

It's taking some getting used to, HS certainly needs a bit more tweaking, some of the patches are pretty big!

I could do with getting an SSD to speed up the loading time.
