@geraldine,
hmm... the quality quartet, i thought about that name a few days ago.
is that at all a real "combo", after thinking over the name and what it could mean and that all was midi, i thought for myself: "would be a good synonyme for MIDI - the quality quartet", because in old MIDI you have four channels/voices, ergo a it's a quartet.
but i don't know and someone must have composed it, it was just one of my crazy thoughts.
ah, yes hello and hi to everybody i'm still alive...
besides, i really like those old midi tunes or even soundtracker stuff,
somehow it sounds always fresh when it's played on the computer, even or especially because it's so artificial.
today i played some tunes i have in pioneer, some "bach" midi files,
my mom was quickly asking "who's that?"
and i smiled, "the machine, mom".
of course i explained her that his music is a sort of predestinated to be played by a machine.
i said "emotionless", then she looked at me: "what do you mean by emotionless? bach isn't for sure emotionless".
then i answered: "yes it sounds not emotionless, but his music is pure mathematics, he envokes emotions in a quite different way as i.e. mozart"

well "the quality quartet" was playing...
they never miss a chord.
