I think this australian duck is pretty interesting as ducks go, even if it's not very colourful, it certainly feels like one of the more active ducks. Males have a flap under their bill that produces a musky odour. They are also quite large for ducks, females being about 50cm long and males being about 65 cm long. They tend not to fly, diving instead to get away from predators.
