Buying X55 pro.

Actually the only thing stopping me is my desk is a little high so I would need some way to mount it to my seat until I get the cash together for a decent prebuilt cockpit.

For me, the price is holding me back. I make do with a wired 360controller. It works splendidly. Another thing that's holding me back is the fact that the X55 is a very specific piece of hardware that has limited use outside it's purpose. But like you, I'm tempted!

I can't... I bought Inquisition and GTA5 for my PS4 yesterday... and that's my gaming budget for the rest of the salary-period right up to Xmas, and that period has no game-budget because, well, Xmas and New Year's Eve. LOL
The life of a gamer is hard. There's way too much shiney!

Pick up a Saitek X52 instead on Amazon, a pretty good HOTAS in its own right and it's only $115 US right now, and probably less come the weekend (black friday deals and all)

Gah FX I hate you love you at the same time.

Spend the cash on the PC and come back to the good side. I just got rid of the Xbox One to spend more cash on the PC.
I would get the X55 in an instant if it wasn't for the mounting issue. That and I've got my motorcycle test and lessons to think of. :D

Hi Kryoten, I missed your post. I looked at that HOTAS and it just looks far too high tech. I'd rather get the X55, but thank you for the suggestion.

I know the feeling, far too much shiney! Problem is, I have is 2 teenagers who also want in on the shiney..nobody else to blame but myself for that one though :)
