Muting the Flight Assist beep sounds

Hi there,
when pressing the FA ON/OFF button there is a disabling and an enabling beep sound. I can hear both sounds when visiting the menus with ESC, when visiting the desktop, the maps, (dis)engaging FSDs. In other words I'm hearing them aaall the time.

Is there a way to disable those beep sounds? Maybe overwriting a sound file?
p.s.: I'm not talking about the voices

should be but there's is no way its hard coded as far as I know
time to get some noise cancellation headphones and set to filter the beep lol

Or just leave it off. This works well, no more beeping!

Hidden away in the Audio section of Controls, are the settings you want.

VOICE VOLUME > SHIP VOICE VOLUME > FLIGHT, DRIVING & FRAME SHIFT
FLIGHT ASSIST ENGAGED & FLIGHT ASSIST DISENGAGED are the first two flags.

but you still cant change the beep noise when switching fa on or off only the voice that's spoken or am I missing somthing

My long term memory is still working but it took me a while to find the setting. I remembered switching off "FSD engaged" as it was driving me mad, in the Black. 'Can't find it now though.
