My analysis of the franchise's animals and a tier list for a hypothetical JW:E 2

The Jurassic Park Franchise has had a wide variety of iterations in books, films, games, etc.

So I decided to pull together a few and see what animals appear in each piece of material

This spreadsheet contains every single animal to have appeared in various JP canons that I thought that Frontier would like to select animals from

Now for a tier list. This tier list basically prioritizes dinosaurs in order of how important they would be to have in a new JW:E game, a JW:E 2 if you will.

About that Geosternbergia skin.
I was told about the idea for having an exclusive skin for each species when you complete its genome. That’s 100%, not 50 nor even 99. What do you think of that?

Actually, a good 100% E. annectens (The JW:E one rn is E. regalis) would be the other species with a TLW arcade color

Everyone wants a JWE 2, without considering the hours and hours of work of Frontier making this one; it's ok exactly how it is now for the mechanics and roster of dinosaurs, please stop.

Not sure what you want in a JWE2 - most people would look at the existing dinos and be happy. Now we have the classic JP DLC (well, soon ;) ) I'm not sure what else fdev would add 🤔 .

Maybe take a different view onto the franchise - i.e. a move away from park management, maybe a stealth FPS set in the universe to tie in with the new film, but that wouldn't be a JWE2... (in fact, looking back at the leak it's called Jurassic World Survival, so maybe that is what triggered my thoughts :) )

I mention JW:E 2 because the same leaks that have confirmed pterosaurs, Claire, JP, etc. have confirmed a JW:E 2

No, they didn't. The leaks didn't explicitly talked about a sequel in the first place, only they begun to do so once people started talking about it (if I recall correctly, the first mention was some obscure 'new IP' - then people assumed it would be JWE2, and the second 'leak' did speak about JWE2).

Besides, while the leaks turned up to be true in the general picture, they did have their fair amount of notable mistakes. Anyway, even assuming that such an expansion was indeed considered by Frontier, how do you know it wouldn't be a real DLC expansion, and not a proper sequel (as in a completely 'different' game, which is basically what people usually understands)?

JWE2 was talked about in the first 4Chan leak revealed earlier on this 14th April, it was this particular leak that also revealed for JWE the Carnivore Pack, Decorations, Claire’s Sanctuary and Return to Jurassic Park. This leak also revealed Planet Zoo, the Ghostbusters pack and various ride packs for Planet Coaster. There were two further leaks that revealed specific details for Claire’s Sanctuary and Return to Jurassic Park, and Franchise Mode for Planet Zoo.

Overall, the leaks have proven themselves to be a very reliable source of information and provide a good insight as to what we should expect in the near future from Frontier Developments. It’s particularly telling that so far, the only thing that the leak got wrong was the release date for Claire’s Sanctuary, having moved from July to June! Admittedly there are also a few details that we do need to wait and see if they’ll be in this update, such as Mussasaurus and the reworked breakout animations, but considering how much it’s gotten correct; it’s looking very likely that they'll be in the game.

“Jurassic World Evolution 2” was first brought up by big known UK YouTuber, BestInSlot, on the very day the London Stock Exchange article brought up the “major global IP” game on March 06.

The series of leaks that said so with such true information (so far) sprouted over a month later after the announcement and BestInSlot’s speculation, and after the time span between it and the first leak. In that time span, more people from everywhere else were already starting to talk about it (the hypothetical sequel game).

In the leaks, there were other small inconsistencies I noticed besides the supposed July release for the Claire DLC, and knowing that there have been leaks that had both fake and true information at the same time, each to a specific degree, one of which was literally just last year for a Nintendo developed game from an individual employee who worked with a company associated with that game’s development, anyone can make anything.
