I have worked up to a Cobra from Bounty Hunting / Trading and then have saved up for a Lakon 6, which I have got to 100cargo and 14ly jump fully laden.
So, I have been working over the Lave Alliance systems and become friendly and allied with most of the locals (oddly enough still neutral with the alliance itself).
So, I open up my game, check the BB if there are some good big/resource missions, I do them on my Lakon and target metals where I know I can make 700-1k credits per ton + missions. This means, if I pick up say a get me some gold + get me some silver type missions and do this along with lumping 100 tonners of say Berrylium I can make 200k+ in a single there and back again double/triple hop run).
Then I go and Bounty Hunt till I have 100k+ of Alliance credits. Very much enjoy the BH at the moment. Nice drop in kill an hour type of thing. I cash those in.
As I have KWS bound to my main fire set, I accidently accumlate dirty Fed/Emp credits too, which I cash in on my Lakon with an 'exotic' trade run every now and again.
Long term goal (which I will get there when I do) is to have 10mill saved up and tool up an ASP.
My own 'gripe' at the moment is that as an 'Alliance' aligned player there is NO inolvement in the galactic story yet in our neck of the woods, hopefully that will change.
Very pleased with the server stability...and the ever improving graphics, the sun and moon combo at Rutherford (local fed scum extraction planet I buy from a just gorgeous).
