I wish you can play smaller 'ooopsie' fines like 100cr without having to dock to a station. Like waving a white flag "My bad, my bad" to the security vessels and pay the fine in air (vacuum).

I was at the nav point yesterday shooting a wanted fellow when out of nowhere this clean cobra crossed my line of fire. Now I got wanted status with 100cr for hitting him once with the laser and all of a sudden all security vessels were on me.

I sure hope that after release they'll work on a system that makes more sense, for instance not resisting would make security vessels arrest you. Getting blown up for 100 cr is not very realistic, space debris are dangerous.

I for the first time picked up some abandoned cargo - or stolen.

Next USS I was scanned - err, entrapment anyone - anyways 100cr fine, then he starts firing at me. WTH, why fine me, if you intend to kill me. That makes no sense.

So, as he is shooting first, I killed him, picked up another 300 or 500 (can't remember) fine. D'oh.

Anyways, docked - in stealth mode, just to see if I could - and sold my 8 tons of grain, pay my fines, out of pocket by a load. :(

Just a little excessive.
I agree paying fines via ships onboard computer once entering the "No Fire Zone" radius would be a nice touch.

Yes! The security should instruct you to retract your weapons, and then, turn off your shield. After that, you should be able to pay any fine smaller than 300cr perhaps. :D

When this happens to me, or if I get scanned and shot at for smuggling some cargo, I go berserk on the security vessels, all of them, so I can continue my operations safely. That is, picking on poor Type 6 smugglers and steal their cargo. I'll have to pay to remove the bounty eventually, but it's still better than getting destroyed and having to pay insurance.
