Engineers My Bill Turner 2.2 expirience or how to waste your ltime

So I got an invite from Bill Turner in mail. I checked what he wants, he wants 50 bromelite, I spent several hours in two sessions grinding bromelite from an ice ring (bromelite is rare). I then decided to head to bill turner, but OH LOOK ITS LOCKED away by a SYSTEM PERMIT I dont have. So I head there, pickup alot of ALIOTH ind missions to deliver cargo etc... and then the server goes offline for 2.2.01. and now I cant patch the game for hours ... And I have several missions their timer is expiring... All of this after I had such smooth play yesterday after 2.2. launched....

Sometimes I wonder do they do this on purpose... and why the hell am I even playing this game anymore.

It appears you aren't worthy to be granted the upgrades that Bill Turner provides. :)
.
Alioth was a good permit to get long before this latest release. It is easy to get. And the bromelite is not rare. My friend and I mined for an hour last night and picked up 14T Methyl Monohydrate (for his mission) and 70T bromelite to unlock Turner for me. Bromelite is easily found at Delkar 9.

Ye, another permit system aka sirius grind 2.0.

Currently on it, takes forever. I swear, if these engineers were human players I would have killed all of them atleast 10 times now in their modded ships.

Can I please burn Alioth and Sirius?

I really, really like this sentiment. Do you need a wingman?

I think Ill just quit, 2.2. doesnt bring much for me anyway, and Im tired of the bugs, the problems, and creating my own gameplay.

A fellow forum member solved my problem I had to manually delete some .part and .progress files from ED directory on my computer. So I didnt lose any progress.

Bah Humbug... I love it, its getting more like a sandbox every update. Grind, yes, but the engineered mods make it worthwhile. And I don't mind mashing about the place getting permits and whatnot.. Variety.

Much better than tending my 16 moons in Eve a few years back! There I was grinding just so my corpmates could have a blast in US time with ships I'd paid for... :/
