General / Off-Topic My cat cut the cord of my keyboard

Yesterday evening, I noticed that the mouse of my PC was out of place on the desk. I thought, the cat had fun with it.

Then I turned on the PC and could not use the keyboard.

I thought of a Windows problem, a Bios problem, a driver problem, I searched for a few minutes, I even rebooted the PC ...

And suddenly I saw that the cable has been cut in two parts by the sharp teeth of my cat

:D

Of course, however now I know his favorite dish
May not just be food. If you're not doing your other slave-duties, it's probably this was to show discontent at poor service.

Pay more attention to your master:
- scratching behind ears (notoriously hard to do oneself)
- food (quantity, quality, variety)
- water
- playtime (don't neglect you need to take a break from Elite, and your master will deem to spend some time chasing a piece of string say, to keep you healthy)
- disturbance (turn the volume down, mechanical keyboards can disturb a good cat-nap)

Say 50 "Praise be O Space Cat"s, and beg forgiveness.

Ameow!

Nothing of this. This cat is treated like a prince at home (food, care, affection, games)

And he goes out several hours by day when he wants

He was just not happy that I did not take him to the pool with me

:D

Yup, they love those cables, last year my cat chewed off my internet cable and my mouse one too. All went in to plastic tubes after that, he lost interest in cables now thankfully.

I had a pet rat chew through a nrtwork cable once. The cut was hidden behind the desk and took a few hours to find, I spent most of the time trying to change network settings to try to fix it.

Cheers,
Mark
