Why does the Comms window always stay open????

Npc chatter stays and keeps comms window open way past the reason for the chatter has gone.

it destroys my view and while i am on the subject, Is there another way to represent Super Cruise other than the moving lines on each side of the cockpit?

come to think of it, the Fire group line left/right could fade out too. yes??

I ask because I would like the best view possible from my cockpit while in flight. Is that too much to ask?

Maybe a bug - my comms window doesn't stay zoom focused from npc chatter, only when I enter text, then after a bit zooms back out.

Your key binds maybe different, but my default ctrl-alt-g disables HUD. if you want max cockpit view, why not just disable hud while you fly and only enable for combat?

The sc lines can't be disabled but I presume you know you can disable the system grid lines. That with Hud disabled gives you max space opera view from cockpit.

but tbh, given one simple pane destroys your view., I would think just the different ship cockpits would be even worse. Other than asp and few others, most ships have some view obstruction as part of game cockpit design. It sound like you're going to be unhappy regardless of hud disable or not.

So your comms fades out eh? hmmm wonder why mine won't...

I like to see the lower half of the ship in my view mainly for the info, but everything above that could fade out and reactivate when it detects movement would be great !

I will try ctrl+Alt+G and see what happens until this option is looked at more closely.
I bet the SC lines can be dealt with...prob just not on the top of the list. They must push ever forward! Shame this one stayed under the rug this game has so much beauty to it.
yeah i know i can turn off Orbit lines. i did that the first day i played and never turn them back on. Those were really bad for distracting my view.
I can deal with the different ships view issues...but it would be nice if the upper half above the ship dash could be looked into.
