I have a sneaking suspicion that in all the excitement of soldering, designing, buying and building he overlooked power.

Actually I`m thinking about this, but the price gonna be about $880.
Also the system is going to be a little simplified.

It`s got VKB controller inside. Same as Black Mamba joysticks do.

The throttle mounted on a plate, and the use of smaller boxes rather than one enormous box; genius.

How's the setup powered?

Yep, and the boxes are modular, so I can replace any of it within 2-3 minutes, when SC will be released - I`ll make one or two replacements. Pretty easy.
Also got 2 external ports to connect smth like rudder pedals and few more button boxes. )

The whole system is powered by 1 usb host.
