Once I got the Rift and E everything changed..
Spend hours tweaking settings until blue in the face,
Had to first boost the PC,
Spend more hours tweaking settings until blue in the face,
Had to ditch the XBox game pad and buy a Hotas (if you got money for Oculus, you really should spend the extra and get a Hotas.)

After seeing all the DIY mods to chairs for Hotas setups - it had to be done.
wires... all over the place..
So made a room to contain it all, get wires away from the floor..

Ok so now the rooms really dark... need some lights for when you remove the rift..

Wife thinks I got a little obsessive....

That's a sweet looking setup you got there. I totally agree...this is the most expensive £40 game I ever purchased. Also spend more time tweaking and getting the cockpit right than actually playing the game but then that's half the fun!

Fantastic video. The forum constantly talks about how hard it is to describe the experience in the Rift. I think your video does a great job because it shows you literally engaged in "another reality". At one point it looks like you are tracking a flyby.

Next time someone asks what VR is I will show them this video to. They will still have questions I am sure, but I bet they are better questions.

I'm sorry, but WUT?!?!? You have three (3) DK2's?? I mean, I would be blown away by just the fact you've set up two monster rigs (maybe one at home and one at the office?), and X-55's, but three DK2s? Did you have one for each computer and one in case of the zombie apocalypse?
