Here is a question I'm pondering with. How in the name of Cthulu did they manage to make the sound even better that it was? It was already epic in pb1, now its out of this world!! :eek:

I agree with the sentiment, but that picture's kinda messed up! Remember that there are kids on the frontier forums who could see that!

I've dismantled my home studio setup to truly enjoy the new sounds.. The boost does sound amazing through my Matrix 1000W power amp :D

Not sure the neighbors will agree though..

Does the game support 5.1 sound? I might need to hook it up to my home theater if it does...

I'm loving the engine boost SFX so far, it really gives the impression of the massive power draw and release within the drives. I'm not really liking the pulse laser SFX though, i feel they have been dialed back each time they update the sounds.
On the bright side again, the drives actually go silent when you shut them off while in motion.
