Community Event / Creation My ED cosplay idea. Thoughts?

Now obviously, making the pilot's suit you see in game would be difficult, and I'm fat, so erm... No.

However, I thought I could make my "off-ship" outfit.

Now I RP as something of a freelance pilot, who does anything that pays well. My personality is a rather casual, rough around the edges sort.

So I want to make an outfit that reflects my space trucker/local bounty hunter RP psyche.

Here's what I have in mind. I want to get the Cobra schematic shirt from the FD Store. Space me loves Faulcon DeLacy. An Alliance pin for obvious reasons. I already have the Elite ranking cap, which is the kind of hat I'd expect a freelance space trucker to wear.

Also, I want to include one of those sleeveless work jackets. The sort you can put a few tools in. As well as that, combat trousers, with lots of pockets. To add to the utility here, add a tool belt & leg pouch. Knee pads, and maybe an elbow pad on one arm. Fingerless wool gloves. A pair of work boots, perhaps steel toe-capped. Safety goggles over the front of the hat. And lastly a pair of ear defenders around my neck, to block out the sounds of mining lasers.

Unfortunately, no, as I can't draw to save my life thanks to bad fine movement control of my hands. My writing is illegible...

I'm doing it all from visualisation in my head.

Yeah, sounds great, love to see some of your work here.
I do some minor cosplay and was thinking of the pilots uniform for a future project perhaps at least the helmet.
Always love to see builds and progress pics so post when you got em etc.

Update time.

Original idea has been thrown out the window.

I'm now going to get some one piece overalls, and modify them with additional material to make them look more spacey'. Tomorrow I'm going to E-mail an embroidery near my home. I'm hoping they can make a patch for the outfit, cost permitting of course.

Cool, as the best builds morph over time and get refined and much better.
Post any progress pics as seeing a "build" is worth, 1000 words+...
