Understood... Just a shame a flap or simply tilt mechanism can't be used to allow access back to the real world easily. eg: Tilt the googles up, and view returns to the monitor. ie: So you can update spreadsheets there and then etc.

For me, it's a big turn off I think.

I have a small enough nose, that I peak under to look at my prices on my smart phone. Some people use Virtual Desktop, so they can Alt-Tab and see the desktop in the Rift, but running that program reduced my FPS noticeably.

Ideally, the ship should be able to log prices of systems you've been in. I would hope 1000 years in the future, we would still have the ability to take screen shots.
