I recently started a trip to Colonia. It's a trip with a few waypoints that I find cool and exploration between those waypoints whenever I find something cool. As such, it's an exploration trip. This log contains some of my highlights from the journey. The log will be updated accordingly.
18th April:
I started the trip and went through a few systems. None were particularly cool.
19th April:
I played past midnight on the 18th, so it turned to the 19th. I continued moving, found a few different systems and surface scanned some planets. The usual stuff. By about 5 am, I finally found myself at my first waypoint. It was a nebula. I really like nebulas, so it was cool.
Within the nebula, there was a dense structure of stars that was quite unusual. It was pretty and formed a shape that could resemble non-human letters. Really cool nevertheless.
I then went to sleep and once I woke up, I ate breakfast, etc. All the usual stuff. Once that was done, I went back into Elite and continued my journey. At some point between my first and second waypoint, I located a planet with rings that was very close to a moon. This provided a great view of the ring.

At some point after that, I reached my 2nd waypoint, which was another nebula.
The next notable thing was my 3rd waypoint, which was also a nebula, before which I had scanned a bunch of systems, planets, etc.
After that, I continued my journey and eventually found a cool planet. It was a planet that I could land on with rings, which gave a great view.
Not only that, but I also located a cool geological signal on it. My approach to the site was as you can see from the picture below.
It looked great with all of the gas coming up from the geysirs or whatever. Once I got closer, it became a great sight.
After landing, I found it to be very rich in resources. Just take a look at the radar here:
20th April:
I continued my journey and eventually stumbled across a nice system with 2 stars close to each other. I have seen a few of these, but I found it interesting at that particular point of time.
Nothing notable happened until I reached my next waypoint, which was once again a nebula. In it, I found a planet with the first biological signal I have seen.
Once I landed, I found where it came from.
Nothing noteworthy happened from that point on until my next waypoint.
I then travelled to the next waypoint.
After that, the 2nd last waypoint before Colonia was quite the beauty.
The final waypoint before Colonia was the next thing to jump out to me.
21st April:
I finally found myself in Colonia and my journey was done, resulting in some great experiences as well as 40 million credits and a bunch of systems that I was the first to discover. It is now time for me to find myself having new travels. Perhaps I'll visit the Great Annihilator or Sag* A next.
