Hey guys. Just started hanging around these forums and thought I'd share my first creation. It's a jungle-themed River Rapids with pirates. You start out in a pirate fort with attached town square area withshops, go past a cascading waterfall and docks, into a large rock cave, and through a shipwreck area with stranded survivors in tiki huts.
It's 1867 pieces. The rock cave ended up being a bigger project than I anticipated, making it look somewhat natural and non-repetitive took a lot of handplacement. I didn't want to use tunnels because I wanted something that would save as a blueprint properly, but the cave doesn't block out light like I intended - if you're going through the cave you should definitely do it at night. Took me about 25-30 hours, as I was learning the game in the process and kept re-arranging and re-designing things.
You can re-create the pathing from the screenshots, it's relatively simple. I have a couple of areas where the dropping rafts soak the passers by with the help of some splash emitters which I think is a lot of fun.
I also created a little collection with a few of the pieces. So if you want to use just the waterfall cascade, or the town square / fort station, or the docks, you can find them here: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=824359983
Video with ride through:
I'd love feedback. If you happen to like it, rate it up if you don't mind - a rating would increase its visibility. If you happen to use it in one of your parks, post a screen shot, it'd be nice to see my work being put to use.
Thanks.
