My first Earth type planet...

I know you seasoned explorers will discover three of these before breakfast, but four thousand ly out from Sol on my way to good ol' Sag A, here is me arriving at my first ever Earth type planet! :D

It's not been easy exploring in a Clipper - in order to strip the ship down to make it suitable for exploring I've had to lose the squash courts, the lower deck shopping mall, two of the cinemas and I'm down to only one ballroom. I know that was drastic, but sacrifices have to be made. The onboard chamber orchestra have had to bed down with the kitchen staff for the duration of the trip, and I'm having to make do with just the five staterooms.

So having made my discovery, I just had time for a quick spa treatment and a game of tennis before pointing the nose of the SS Curmudgeon corewards again.

Down to the last fifty bottles of Dom Perignon though, may have to resort to the emergency rations of Bollinger at this rate. :(

2 things

1. Congratulations! View attachment 54325
2. After finding about 100 ELW's, it still is fun to find another and the only way to increase your odds is targeting systems which are known to have them. Otherwise you're just as likely to find one as any seasoned explorer. It's the great equaliser.

Safe travels on your spartan journey to Saggy Hairy Butt. (Plebeian humour)

Congrats on your discovery. Its a real buzz to find them. I'm certainly not seasoned... I've found 4 to date and when I find them I like to spend a little more time checking out that system. I bet you opened a bottle of something expensive to celebrate that find... and so you should. Enjoy :)

Hi Cmdr, grats on your find,, as the man said, the odds on finding them are the same for us all,, suitable stars help the odds greatly,, though they are found lurking in Neutron systems too,, enjoy your trip to Sadge and safe travels always +rep

Congratulations.
It's just a little while since I found my first, in my scruffy little T6. I am already on tinned corned beef and recycled water!
Still I am getting thrills just being the 'first' in most places.
Happy Hunting ...

Ooh, another explorer flying coreward to Sagittarius A* in an Imperial Clipper. Don't forget to sign up to the visitor's list when you get there, and perhaps post your Earth-like worlds on their list too. Bon voyage!
