Horizons My first exploration trip!

I have never been further than maybe 50 LY away from the bubble, and i play Elite for some time already. The reason is, i just couldnt understand whats the point to explore?.. even going from engineer to another engineer like 100LY is a pain in the butt, just jump and jump and jump. I started to play Elite on XBOX ONE, had a Vulture, Cobra, and also saved my Sidewinder, and around 30 mil credits. Then i built my first pc and bought the game again, and had to start fresh.

Been playing for like 120 hours now, and discovered that Skimmer mission stack with 2 to 3 mil pay for each mission, thought i have played for long enough so i could use this oportunity. Earned like 100 mil, bought long desired Python, BUT.. i do not recommend to use these missions/bug whatever, the ship just doesnt feel truly earned, in the end i understood i have ruined the fun for my self. So i gave the exploration a try. Everyone should do that, just one trip, not too far, 1000 LY is enough, go to a nebula, or to the side of the galaxy, its just so relaxing, no npcs no law, just you and the milky way. When i was getting closer to the nebula, the nebulas cloud i guess was blocking the light from stars behind it, it was all pitch black, not the usual sky if i may say so. Thought the game crashed :D i even checked the connection, maybe im disconnected or something :D

Exploration really is another way to play Elite.
