My first exploration video

I've gone a lot further than I first planned and I'm heading towards the Eagle Nebula at the moment. After deciding to go all out and head for Sag A*, I thought making some vids along the way would make the trip more fun and give me more of an excuse to get up close to some of the objects out there. After some advice on software from other commanders on the forum, here's my first vid of some footage so far. My rig isn't new so it's far from high-res and isn't great in full screen but should be good enough quality in a smaller window! I'm using a trial version of Action! so it still has the watermark at the top but I think I'll going to invest in it. It's my first one and more of a practicing the software video, so hopefully I can improve on this with future videos and more scenery as I head further out into the black!

Not bad at all, always nice to see exploration videos. Also, despite you saying you don't have the best PC or the shiniest graphics it looks great. I ran Elite on a fairly old (2010) PC for the first several months and after moving to my new PC I barely noticed any difference other than the framerate being a lot higher. The game is quite optimized.


But yeah, well done and good luck on your future journeys.
