So for the first time in my Elite Dangerous career, I have enough to properly fit an ASP Explorer without taking away from my main combat vessel. In fact, I had enough to fully kit the ASP for exploration, A Vulture and Courier for combat, and a Type-6 for trading, and still have about 8 mil left over. (I'm getting closer to being able to afford an FDL).
Right now we are between paying community goals, so I figure now is the best time to put in some time and effort, and go out exploring.
So my first journey I have already started. I'm going to the Taurus Dark Nebula, only about a 600LY trek. This I should be able to complete with no trouble with what I have fitted.
My question is for when I begin the 10,000+LY trek to the center of the galaxy. I ask you veteran players, what kind of build should I be looking to put together for my ASP? What is nessesary and what is not?
