One time I was messing around with that 3rd person camera and I want to get a shot with my ship firing. So I fire my beams and get to the external view. If the ship was firing when you got to 3rd person camera, it will keep firing. After awhile I notice that there are sparks on my ships... I thought it was glitches so I ignore it. Later on when I got back it the hull was a mess (like 50% or so), apparently the beams were overheating the ship. So that can happen...

FD sorted it.

Thanks for all the shoulders to cry on.

You were lucky. I'm surprised you got to 120mc without learning not to launch without insurance but I guess everyone has to learn the hard way at least once. Buy have you learned... Since FD bailed you out?

Shadowplay has a 0% performance hit, while GVR comes in at an approximate 9% performance hit. Could mean the difference between losing 120 million and getting a refund.

It only has 0 performance hit with newer gpus
My 6870 does not support it in hardware, and it slows things down.

Hard to justify an upgrade just for that, because it does not struggle on any game I play at 1080p

Too much misinformation out there at times..geeze

Great thing FD sorted it out for you. Don't listen to the guys taunting you of flying without insurance. A bug is a bug is a bug.

............but in my defense I have always flown with insurance except this one time. ...........

Absolutely love this!

"Your honour, it was the first time i'd carried a gun and shot some one. Please let me off."

p.s. glad FD sorted you out.

True, and if it was a bug of course he should get his ship back. However he chose to fly without insurance and took a risk, he's lucky it was a bug and not a genuine death. Basically he deserves to lose it.

Nasty and spiteful. Go for a walk.
