My First Visit to the Pleiades and...

...I'm convinced it's the coolest, wackiest tiny collection of systems in the entire Elite universe. There's a mysterious off-bounds and HUGE Relay Station - almost died there, but managed to boost my way out of trouble -, there's great variety of station architecture/design, there's the Squirrel Bar - the devs should make something out of it -, there's Thargoids, Sirius, Aegis, Obsidian station, plus lots of exploration sites within 200 light years et cetera.

Frontier clearly meant this to be a hot spot for player activities. I had no idea. The Bubble is kind of boring in comparison.

And I keep finding interesting stuff: A Dyonisius agricultural ship named "something"-Honor, a K & C comestibles type of space bar etc. Why can't we have more structures in the Bubble, too?

I've maintained a "home" out there since 2.2, when I happened to crash into a much-higher-than-usual gravity world so hard I should have left a ravine.
My poor little Asp emerged with no shields and 2% hull.. and then I discovered a station on that planet, landed, fixed myself, and have been growing a little fleet there for a while.

It's a nice neighborhood, just don't mind the really big bees.

Very nice neighborhood indeed. It seems every system in the region has something interesting to see. Right now I'm docked to the Gnosis megaship in Taygeta.

Another item for my "to do" list, sounds like!

If you haven't been out there then I'm guessing that you haven't seen any of these either :

Barnacles
Thargoid bases
Guardian sites
Scout wreck
Brain trees
Space Pumpkins (California Nebula)

Most of the game... Isn't in the bubble!

It's always been my favourite region in the game :) it was my first longish trip from the starter systems that required a fuel scoop in my Cobra!

It always feels like driving home when I head that way now :)

And since the new neighborhoid (wanted to write neighborhood, but that fits better!) moved in, the prices for property are payable...
