My first Wing experience

So after 500 hours of play I finally decided to try winging up. I fly a Viper 4. Teamed up with a Type 10 and then again later with a sweet Cutter. It was great in a High Res. My speed and manouvrability allowed me to scan and get the first shots off while my heavy backup got there to help finish them off. I was able to jump on anything knowing I had a shield tank right behind me and I think I was able to contribute greatly as a target scout. Big fun. Can't wait to do it again.

This was positive so +1 to you.
I also had some great times in wings in the past, think it's one of the best features in the game.

I always thought that although the Viper 4 is not on par combat wise with some of the larger ships it would make a great support craft for scouting and guerilla tactics. It's fun to see that actually happen and not something that is discussed when people talk about combat viability.

You should fly under my shadow some time - just look for the Beluga in a Haz RES with white lasers and plasma.

I've had countless hours of fun, sometimes sitting absolutely still, beams locked on a wing-mate (Did I mention those beams are Regen Sequenced?) and tossing Repair Limpets and redirecting fighters.

Sounds fun. I will try to add you as a friend.
