So this is my ship... Mission Running Python.
She has some mods, mainly overcharged PP, some lvl1 shield booster mods, DD3, and FSD range 5.
No weapon mods.
I'm also combat Rank Deadly.
And I've been using that, or a similar one for a while.
So far, no ships can destroy me.
Even Elite FASs, Clippers, Anacondas, FDLs, Corvette's are no issue.
Nothing.
Today, I decided to do a couple of stacked Massacre Missions in a CZ.
To my surprise, when I jumped in, a Farragut, and Majestic jumped in with me, and promptly began slogging it out against each other. (Best CZ ever!)
I spent a good 30 minutes there, almost finished my mission when the enemies stopped spawning.
So, I took the opportunity to pummel the Majestic Cruiser.
I was easily tanking it's fire, without the use of an SCB, or a chaff(don't even have one).
No other enemies in sight.
I'd long since ran out of missiles, and materials to Synthesise more.
All was going swimmingly.
Oh, and I should add, I was also carrying 108t of imperial slaves, for a separate mission. Lol
Plus about 10 data deliveries.
Plus Engineer cargo.
But I still decided to go to the CZ first... cuz'.
Anyhoo, out of literally no where.
I'm suddenly hostile to both sides!
I don't have turrets, and no one flew in my line of fire. (I was 400m from the cruiser I was firing on)
Not sure where that came from... But now I was sat between 2 hostile Cruisers, both firing all they have on me, plus about 5-6 other ELITE ships now taking pot shots.
It took me a while to even notice too.
All I can assume is the Feds got bored, and wanted a new target to play with.
So....
...I casually flew away.
Took minor hull damage, and made it back to supercruise.
Then promptly turned around and came back in.
Really?
My Python can tank 2 cruisers.
Who designed these things? I've met sidewinders with more oomph!
I can't seem to die. Not that i want too, but something isn't right.
Oh, on top of that, most of the ships seem to now enjoy bouncing off cruisers.
It's rather entertaining!
Additionally, when i returned, I quickly helped mop up the fighters again. Then did the exact same thing again.
Only this time I routed the Majestic Cruiser. And didn't somehow become Public Enemy Number One this time.
On the way back to the station, I got jumped by a wing........ of sidewinders.
Killed those.
Made several million credits. And my repair and rearm bill was paid for by the wing of sidewinders, 3 times over.
Can I Haz Hard Mode Please?
