Hello there, i finally decided to make my welcome post.
Can´t call myself oldtimer and such, but as far my honorable metion is several hunder hours spent in X games (Reunion, TC and couple hours in terrible Rebirth).
So far i was amazed how smillar ED is to X´s, so i happily jumped in and loved it since i "passed" training tutorials (yeah i rather do traning course first in new games than screwing up in regular game).
I love the game optimalization (my relic Q6600 and GTX 460 can run it in 1080 with most on high) and the small size (yet i know most stuff is being dl´ed on demand).
I love the detail, like when someone goes dock, you actually see HIM docking and then going to hangar wich can be seen from outside.
I love the ship details, although you cannot see much from outside (well yeah except if you look at someone else´s ship in close-up).
I love the sheer size (well i know only our galasy is HUGE..), while the EVE i played was huge too..
But, what i don´t like (personally, its just my opinion, no big deal, cause it´ll get fixed eventually) are some things that grind my gears off...
Interdictions (yeah mentioned so many times all around) especially in Solo.. nothing can <beep> me off more that almost at exiting range to station (or oh well... the approach moment) you get interdicted, run away, and boom suddenly you are about 5-8Ls away? WAT?
Jerks.. (or you may call them "griefers"), wich personally i dont care about, yet i didn´t met anyone like that (mainly because i´m in my system(s) where i trade safely far from anyone.. (i just keep reading about this, nothing from my experience, but that´s in any multiplayer game anyway..).
Some of the financial bugs, or just mishaps.. like insane wear&tear costs or those insurance costs mentioned in couple threads around.
Anyway, sitting in my T6, alongside with 2 Cobras and feeling good so far..
