My impressions.

After playing all weekend these are my impressions.

1. Its shaping up very nicely.
2. Its looking like the game I was hoping it was.
3. The supercruise exit spinning at present is irritating and looks a bit cheap.
4. I cant distinguish between human and NPC. Working as intended maybe.
5. I think bounty hunting might be kind of obsolete at present as the bounty seems far less than probable repairs.
6. I seem to have a bug where pressing flight assist activates it twice. So when I turn it off, it turns itself straight back on again instantly.
7. One of the systems where there is lots going on, Asellus, is pretty laggy for me.
8. Supercruise is a bit hitty, missy needs work.
9. It crashes quite a lot in fullscreen, not crashed at all in windowed.

But overall very happy with my next gen Elite and Flying around with a constant grin on my face.

3. Supercruise exit is placeholder at the moment.
4. NPC's are solid on the radar, PC's hollow. Triangle = hardpoints deployed, square = hardpoints retracted (once they have been resolved).
6. It's likely the toggle action in the control options, rather than having it on activate when pressed.

3. Yeah, I imagined so, just getting irritated by it :)
4. Thats handy know, I'll look out for that.
6. I'll have a bit play in the options to see if I can solve that.
I'm still trying to find a nice balance with controller set up.

It can go a bit messed up if you start flicking between the forums and the game, at the moment I have lost all hud indications and cant do anything. Lesson to self, dont keep flickeing between forums and game :)

I think lag is the only thing that could really kill this game for me. There had better not be any lag once it has been optimised.
 
6. keep key pressed to keep FA on, lift to take it off. that's why it goes on/off when you just hit it.
