General / Off-Topic My last thread on this forum.

Yes click bait I know. I'll make up for that now.

Q: Is it OK to release a game, which still requires software up-dates to make it work properly?

A: Apparently it is.

Q: Is it OK to release a new forum website, that still requires software up-dates, to make it work properly?

A: Properly.

Q: Is it OK to release an passenger plane for sale, if it requires software up-dates, to make it work properly?

Unfinished things = doom

1) Not usually, no, although not sure to which game are you referring. ED has worked since 1.0. Even NMS which was a bit letdown for some on launch worked. So.... erm...

2) I'm guessing you are referring to FD here? Although not sure what you really mean. They are switching forum software. A positive move according to most considering the software currently being used and the the one they are moving to.

3) If it required software to work properly then that airplane wouldn't be flying. I can't imagine many people buying an airplane that didn't fly. It kind of defeats the point.

You re sounding a bit like the mod, you once used be.

F.D. needs 'bugs' sorting all of the time and so do other games. What are these, if not, software issues?

Forum? Wait and see.

Planes? Boeing 737s have exactly that issue.

Are the F35s working yet?:D
Shuuush, That's military, therefore politics.

Commercial planes falling out of the sky, because of basically self-regulation and kick-backs, is not.

Edit:- and yes, it has been working for decades. It's called the Hunter Harrier. Well until 'they' got hold of it, found that their top guns, could only crash it and so, thought that they might try and build one themselves. and try, and try.

Did F.D. give us a time for this. Or did they something like; towards the end of the holidays season?

I'm guessing when they come into work Monday morning is when everything goes down. So for me in the US, I will wake up with nothing good to read while having my morning sit on the loo. I cannot tell you how much this saddens me.

And on this note, this is likely my last post in the forums that were....

So, any 'issues' or software up-date requirements needed here yet?

Back to the main point here. Boeing 737s? Not been fixed yet. No passengers allowed at this time and planes still having issues, when being moved from place to place.

So is this acceptable?

So, Boeing just had their AGM and the guy at the podium; has basically blamed the pilots. He refused to agree that there was an issue with the MCAS. Or agree; that the fed safety testing procedures (that are done in house at Boeing and by Boeing, fed passed, employees) was not at fault.
