Engineers My list of things I really like about Engineers patch

Well really there's not a lot. but anyway...my list:

1.) The Added ATC sounds at the stations....nice

2.) System and station Bookmarks....Excellent!
 
3.) Graphical and performance improvements

4.) Reputation system with factions improved

5.) Missions revamp

6.) AI waaay better than it was

7.) Persistant USS

8.) Maybe the Engineers in 2.1.1


Just wanted to complete your list to fit with my own likes of 2.1 :D
 
1. Legal salvage at USS
2. Safe to disengage SC at up to 9Mm sometimes
3. Time limits on missions are extended, up to a day or longer (may be addressing the Cmndr's that want to "TURN OFF THE CLOCK")
4. NPC's are at least a little smarter.
5. Scanning Nav Beacon to find that USS you need.
6. A lot more communication during mission.

One con
1. Sure takes a long time to get the mission board up. And when you do it takes longer to do anything on it. Is it because of the extra info and graphics?

I don't see your #3....everything looks the same except for the downtuning of hyperspace and the stars look less detailed # 4 I don't know what you mean......Mission Revamp? Mission board? Mission board load times....eeek! AI is better...doesn't mean I like it....lol......Persistant USS? does that mean if you take out 6 of the 12 Vultures escorting that Anaconda and you shut the game down to go for lunch and come back they are still there with 6 vultures and one Anaconda....that would be persistant

it's cool that you like all the changes you mentioned. For me it's different....Not everyone takes their coffee the same way.

Ok, you don't like 2.1. There is no discussion so I assume we can ignore this post, shall we? :)
 
I take my coffee black with no sugar, but that AI man, I could put a dash of milk.

Materials spawning on planetary surface when you undertake source material mission. I had to source 18 Auto Fabricator last night, and was doing 2 skimmer missions on the same planet and on both bases I found a few Auto Fabricator lying around and it's tagged as "Mission Required". I'll have to test it further but if it is what it is, then that means FDev already implement material spawn bias, now only to apply it for materials and data when we pin blueprint
 
On topic though, the ATC voices (or the flight control voices, right?) is one of the best additions in my eyes, along with the mission icons on the navigation tab.
Planet surface textures are pretty cool now too.

But that AI man, that AI... only joking, AI ain't that bad.
