My Merits disappeared !?

Hi just a quick need help post, has anybody experienced this?

I had 459 merits last cycle, as in Wednesday feb 3rd 2016. the merit decay its supposed to be 50% of that but now Saturday 6th i only have 79 Merits? !?

BUG? i feel robbed of 2 hours of my life, those almost 400 merits took around and hour and something of MStrikes

help?!

If you made 400 merits in an hour and a bit you're doing well. I don't know what time zone you are in, but if you don't turn in your merits before the server deadline, GMT, then you lose them. The game runs 7 hours ahead of me so I have to be careful Wednesday night to turn everything in before 7am server time.

You have to turn in the merits like you would the bounties, for example. If you don't, they disappear when the powerplay ticks. Thursday, I think it's 7am GMT, but not completely sure.
Simply every Wednesday night, you have to turn in everything you have or it gets wiped.

When did you earn those 400? this week?

if you had earned a bunch 4 weeks ago, but earned only a little last week. you can get the numbers you see.
The merits you earn in any given week. the following week you keep half. and then half the following week, then half one more time, then it all disappears.
That again, is based on the week that you earned it, not the total from last week.

If it's still confusing, I can give a specific example.

sorry guys but i said i had Merits not PowerPlay Bonds, yes i know one has to redeem the bonds before the end of the cycle, and yes i had them redeemed.

I would not have posted if it was my mistake, the thing is that my Redeemed merits went missing :S

oh i see, so the decay just goes full kill after 4 weeks?i tought it the decay was 50% of what you have until it reaches well 0, but the weird thing is according to the forum link you posted week 4 is half of i had.

So i should be with 225 ish merits right now not 79 :S
