An... Interplanetary Shuttle?

An interpretation for the Anaconda. Here reimagined as another military ship: a long range armed scout/sloop.

A sketch (not colored) for a Federal Destroyer. This is a much smaller ship than the Battlecruiser in the previous page, altough larger than Panther Clippers, Lynx Carriers etc.

OK, time to return on the Imperial ships with another original design of mine (not finished).
All my reimagined imperial big crafts are designed to be powered by that large Bussard ramjet. Two of them for the Courier, three for the Trader, four for the Explorer. Seemed logical a smaller sibling of the Courier that make use of only one ramjet.
This craft, that I've christened "Imperial Sloop" is literally built around the engine and has a characteristic crew compartment on the port side. A specular pod on the starboard side contains the missile launcher (and the hyperdrive, I suppose). Both pods have a beam laser installation. The design of the pods is only a sketch and need to be improved.
The ramjet is flanked by two hydrogen tanks. An anular wing supports the two auxilliary engines.
This vessel has about the size of the federal Asp Explorer and can be considered an Imperial equivalent.

The Imperial Quartet:

I hope I've captured, to some extent, the essence of the original Imperial spacecrafts of FE2 and FFE, although with some degree of redesign for practical and style reasons.

My Imperial Sloop along with an unfinished model of an Asp, showing the relative sizes.

(I've unexpected difficulties with the Asp, despite the simple shape. I love the ED version of the ship, but I want to draw a personal version, closer to the original. But I'm not satisfied with it.)

I'm working on an interpretation of the infamous Turner Class from Frontier: First Encounters. I'm on a preliminary stage.
I took inspiration from the Skylon project.

I've retained the characteristic "hollow" engine nacelles of the ship:

As in the Courier, the engines were relocated to better match the CoG of the ship.
I've never been a fan of that ship; my attempt is to make a more streamlined version.

Trying something new.
This is an interpretation of the classical "orbital city" of FE2 and FFE - think at Morgue's Mortuary or Li Qing Jao.
The "cylinders" are 3,5 km long and with a diameter of 1,5 km.

Here, three types of cylinders: urban district, park, farmland.

Detail of the park:

I enjoyed calculate the population of such a station. The total internal usable surface of the cylinders (urban districts + park; farmland not counted) is 27.5 square kilometers. I've assumed that the urban districts are densely populated. As reference, the gross population density of Manhattan is 27,812.2/km2 (source: wikipedia). I used a more conservative value of 18,000/km2, then the population of my orbital city is 18,000x27.5=495.000 inhabitants.
