Just a heads up if any of you are like me and leave it until the last minute or forget entirely… its Valentines Day next Friday!!
Earn your kudos and brownie points – don’t play Elite… I know its damned awkward with phase 2 of Alpha testing out (soon!) and Valentines Day falling on a Friday where most of us have little enough time to play as it is so, a day taken up at the weekend is rather inconvenient.
However, just think of all the faction you could earn by spending the night with your SO, allowing you unrestricted access to E: D for the next few weeks by this small sacrifice!
Top Tips for Valentines Day:
Emphasise your sacrifice (only) a couple of times so they know how important they are.
Spike their drinks and ‘let’ them have an early night.
Convince them that the 14th is actually the Thursday so you don’t miss a non school night’s play.
Don’t mention anything and hope they forget (prepare your ‘Surprised/Disappointed’ face for when it is undoubtedly brought up!).
Agree together to both do nothing as its only money to card manufacturers.
Following on from the above tip, make your own card for him/her - after all its more sentimental.
