Hi Guys,
I going to be upgrading my console to an XBox Series X shortly so have been looking around for a new 65" OLED TV to go with it. The LG OLED65CX5LB or Panasonic 65HZ980B seem to be in my price range.
The advantage of the LG is HDMI 2.1 & 120 Hz refresh - but how much weight should I give to this feature ? After all there's not a great deal of games that utilise it at the moment. Should I consider this for future proofing reasons.
On the other hand gaming is not the be all and end all (for the rest of the family) of the requirement and the Panny supports more HDR formats with support for HDR10+ and it's also a bit cheaper and comes with a stand too.
Does anyone have experience of either of these sets with a new gen console ? are there similar priced alternatives I should consider ?
Your thoughts please.
I look forward to hearing from you.
