My observations of YouTube play-test videos and suggestions

Thank you developers and staff members for working so hard on the sequel of our most anticipated game!

Short background info:
I have been playing since the alpha of planco1. Suggested the game to my wife and now we have been playing it together for many years. Of course, we pre ordered as soon as possible xD We are not on the realistic side of creating parks, but appreciate realistic rides and coasters, and all the details the rides and coasters have.
If anyone is interested in visiting the parks we made so far: LINK TO STEAM WORKSHOP COLLECTION.

We play for fun and relaxation, to be creative, and just having a good time!

While you let playtest a variety of content creators, collect constructive feedback (which is awesome), and listen very much to the wishes and needs of your future customers and community: ..here are some thoughts, I collected after binged through all available YouTube videos :)

What I love so far (all game changers for me):

1. I love the new coaster's smoothness.

2. I love the new path system.

3. I love the new vegetation.

4. I love the huge amount of content.

5. I love all the new features.

6. I love the new Blueprint options.

7. I like the erasing of TMTK downloads.

8. I love the options, carried over from Planet Zoo (blank stalls as an example).

9. I love the special track segments of the coaster types.

10. I love the re-scaling of some things and pieces in general.

11. I love the blank flatrides and the ability to theme everything so easily now.

12. ..there is more I love about Planet Coaster 2 ..but I do not have any coins left!

Some suggestions:
(based on what I could see and what I think it is,
could be wrong, tho!)

1. Log Flume: lifts and drop parts (still no double down, 6g`s at the bottom of the drop, radius feels too steep/small for the length of the boats).

2. Water Rides: lift and drop parts (sorry, they are looking just ugly and are restricted to the angle of the bottom part)

3. Water Rides: bulky, round concrete support on turntable/special track segments (or a simple option to disable them).

4. Water Rides: Most Water Ride canals guide the boats through an artificial lake/pond.

5. Water Track Rides: Like the big boats: the version in Planco 1 with just a guide rail is better than the one with a canal.

6. Ride Pads: ..are too big. For real, it's too big!

7. Flatride blinking/light parts (I know, we would cover them up heavily).

8. Entrance / Exit gates: please add a disable option.

9. Restrictions of coaster types: ..we had them in Planet Coaster 1. We didn´t like them. Please add a disable option, like you added later in Planet Coaster 1.

10. Roller Coaster: as I see, you have already implemented a somewhat spline system with the path system, could we please get a straightforward spline system for building custom supports? (no more fiddling with rail connectors and scenery supports, please / could be also used as a tool for building other awesome constructions, easily!).

11. DLC: Please add a small monorail and MORE kiddie/family rides as DLC later! :D I appreciate the powered observation coaster already in-game, but a monorail with just a monorail and smaller carriages is very welcome!

end of wall of text

And a question to end this:
Roller Coaster: I assume, the special track segments are hard-coded into the game/type of coaster, so I think we don´t can swing-launch the trains forth and back.

Overall, the HYPETRAIN is real! Stay healthy and have a great release day! =)

PS.: I will edit this post if I think I missed something or want to add anything ;)

Edit 1:
I suggest to make the Nebulaz ride pad round instead of a rectangle :)

Some trees are moving like a psychedelic mushroom would, i assume, looks a bit weird. Destroys the immersion.

Please, please add a 2 meter path width available! I think many creators will love it! If possible, a grid for "cattle queues" :)

Edit 2:
I totally appriciate that the pirate / swinging ship is reworked. But it still looks a bit off.

I created this ride in different variations (manufacturer) in blender and i always keep an eye of the swing-radius and the rounding of the bottom of the "boat". It still looks not right in Planet Coaster 2.
The "arm supports" where the boat gondola is connected to, looks more weird as in Planco 1.
So instead of changing the arm-supports it would be much better to change the gondola. This way it only needs a simple rotation of two wheels for the movement, too.

I think this could be changes at a later point in development, too. But the thing is, there are so many great things which makes planet coaster 2 much more realistic and more detailed and this ride got a downgrade and doesn't fit in well with the other rides.
