To be fair Nvizzio is the third studio working in RCTw, so I wouldn't just blame them when the main constant that remained all that time was ATARI.
Atari controlled the purse strings, Atari controlled what studios worked on the game, Atari controlled what went into the game, Atari hyped the heck out of the game, Atari turned on it's fan community, Atari made the promises that weren't kept. One can fault Nvizzio for their lack of vision, game creation skills or ability to clean up other's messes, but the buck...and the blame... really stops at the desk of the head of Atari...(although he pretends it doesn't. ..).
I would aim more of the blame at those running the current company that's hiding behind the Atari logo and company name myself.
