Hardware & Technical My PC failed me...dont know what to do.

Last night after having a horrible IRL day I loged into elite I only had 450 PP points to get to keep my rank so I went off to undermine my enemies.
I kept getting bluescreens of doom over and over again , I got my PC fixed but its was too late , it was 9AM so I had to go to bed as I would not be able to keep my rank due to my PC failing me.

I am not asking for change as it my fault for not having built the most stable of PCs but wanted to tell someone because my IRL contacts would think I am crazy(er)

Check the dump files (google jow if unsure). I find most bluscreen crashes happen due to out of date or faulty windows or gfx card drivers.

No , why would I downgrade? My PC is very powerfull... I have an Xbox but I never play it (as a joke I taped my old GPU on it to make it look better)
how would I 4K elite or play moded games or ArmA? and you cant use a HOTAS on consol

I think I fixed it , I might have been an issue caused by the internal tweaking I was doing

I fixed it , so far. I did some tweaks the day before I should not have done

Thanks , hope my GFX card is not dead yet as its a 980... got an old 660 somewere I taped on my old xbox as a joke lol

Is it sad if that was my plan? the only issue was that my PC was down and did not get to fix it before the end of the cycle...

The probleme might be my harddrive it is about 6 years old or something... next time I get payed I will either get a new harddrive or push my PC a bit more and just build an even more powerfull one... not that will make a difference sins there nothing I can not run (or its just the stupid summer heat messing with my PC)

Here is a long winded but ok explanation of bsod's http://www.maximumpc.com/blue-screen-of-death-survival-guide-every-error-explained/

If nothing has changed recently and the blue screen is random, check for virus/malware or overheating. If it happens after playing the game, then first check the video card fan. If it started after a game patch, update video drivers. Also check for blown capacitors on the board and card. http://www.thenakedpc.com/dan/Bulging_Capacitors/close-up.jpg

If all else fails, take a picture of the bsod and post it with what you were doing at the time.

I fixed the PC , everything is fine.
the issue here is not the PC health that can be fixed or replaced with money... my issue is I mised out on the last powerplay cycle because of my life and that tempory issue (at least I hope its tempory)
