Well its now official Star Wars Franchise sells out with its first official Disney Star Wars poster.

Take it away it burns us.

Indeed... why the sell out, does George Lucas really need the money? I knew this **** was gonna happen... I have never been a 'massive' fan of Star Wars more of a trekkie, but this is just ridiculous:mad:

All the money went to charity. All $4.05 billion that Disney forked out has gone towards evidence-based children's education programmes. And the price? Some people that take green muppets and cartoon villains too seriously get a bit upset. A great trade in my books ;P

The first three films were great, and in my mind that's the way it's gonna stay. Disney can do what it likes now, they can't ruin the originals. Best to keep things in perspective, and if a lot of the money has gone to charity, then good luck to them.

I would like to see a decent Lucasarts game though... they've not made one for over ten years. Seems like it anyway. :p

if that's true I didn't know that $4.05 billion went to charity, either way I am pretty sure that J.J. Abrams will do a better job of the star wars sequels than Lucas done on the Star Wars Prequels.

That's a great, fun poster. :)

Disney didn't destroy Marvel in 2009 when they bought it, and chances are they'll be good for Star Wars.

They certainly can't do any worse than Lucas himself has done since 1983!

It might not be too bad if Luke, Han and Leia are onboard. Though tbh, I think I'd rather them just leave Star Wars well alone, but there's too much money to be made...

Everyone's too worried about Star Wars. Personally, I'm more interested to see what the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean could do with the Monkey Island licence...

The poster may be new but the Star Wars weekends are not. I was fortunate enough to be there for one in 2011 and quite frankly it was awesome. Sure there were Disney characters dressed up as Star Wars characters, but there was so much other great stuff that made my young son's eyes pop out, including a huge parade. I'm not worried.

We all know Disney is for the Kids and they love it, when I take the kids to Disney world its like they are on a constant sugar rush.
