My Pseudo-Circumnavigation Journey: Nearly at Beagle Point

Nearly 5000 jumps under my belt as I reach Beagle Point, the halfway marker! Wish me luck.

Hull at 92%... Canopy 96%...
Most damaged item: Cargo Hatch: 88%

Brilliant effort! :D

It's a shame your cargo hold full of slaves (I would only assume) may suddenly malfunction near the edge of the galaxy ;)

Those circles surrounding Sol and Sag A are 10 kylie (10kly) markers. That map was generated by EDSM.com Elite Dangerous Star Map which you can use with a client like ED-Discovery to automatically keep a log of every single system you ever visit.

oh cool. Guessing that's unavailable for Xb1 then.

Unless I am mistaken in thinking that you have no way of enabling verbose logging then you are unfortunately correct.

(If I am wrong and you can get verbose logs then you can upload them directly to the EDSM website)

Good luck, commander!

This way you'll probably beat me in arriving as second sidewinder on Beagle Point. :)

Fly safe,

(Who thinks you should go easy on the cargo hatch...)

well im glad im not the only one who had this idea! im brand new to ED, only about 30 hours logged. Im gearing up for a journey of similar magnitude. Any advice you can pass along to a greenhorn heading into the void?

Perhaps set a slightly more modest target for your first trip? When you think you've got the ship for it go on a shake down run a few kylies out and back again - just to make sure you will really enjoy a long sojourn in the black and that you really are happy that you have the right ship.

Get EDDiscovery if you're on PC.
